Each of us is responsible for all our duty. Also, the husband is leader in family and responsible for his family.
A hadith from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah blesses him), that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock. A husband is the shepherd of the family in his house and he is responsible. A woman is the shepherd of the house of her husband and she is responsible. Each of you is a shepherd and each is responsible for his flock” [Sahih. Al-Adab al-Mufrad, 212].
Means, the husband will be asked about his family? Did he teach his family well? Guided his family to rightness? Forbid his family from doing badness? And so on.
