Who Drinks Wine in this World, Can’t Get it in Hereafter

We all know that khamr and everything intoxicating has been forbidden by Allah in the world. Allah says:

They ask you about wine and gambling. Say: “In both of them there are great sins and some benefit to man, but the sins of both are greater than the benefits”” [Al Baqarah: 219].

But in heaven the khamr becomes lawful, there are even rivers that flow delicious khamr which the inhabitants are free to drink. Allah says:

the parable (of the inhabitants) of heaven which is promised to the piety people. In heaven there are rivers that the taste of water will never changes at all. Also rivers of milk that do not change its taste. And also rivers of wine which are delicious for the drinker..”  [Muhammad: 15].

Khamr (wine) in heaven does not contain intoxicating substances. As Allah says:

“There is no alcohol in the khamar and they are not drunk on it” [Ash Shaffat: 47].

Khamr (wine) in heaven does not make you drunk and dizzy. As Allah says:

“they are neither dizzy nor drunk” [Al Waqi’ah: 19].

But the wine of heaven will not be obtained by people who drank wine of the world.

The Prophet ﷺ says,

“He who drank wine in this world will not be provided with pure drink in the Hereafter, except in case he repents” [Sahih Muslim]

So stay away from khamr in the world. And if you can be patient, you will drink the wine in heaven. Insha Allah.
