Do you want to taste the sweetness of faith? That is, you feel happiness and pleasure when you believe in faith and practice it.
If you want to taste the sweetness of faith, do the following three things.
In a hadith from Anas bin Malik (may Allah blesses him), that the Prophet (ﷺ) says,
“Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake.
3. Who hates to revert to the kufr (be disbeliever) as he hates to be thrown into the fire” [Saheeh al-Bukhari].
That three things, if they are fulfilled, you will find the sweetness of faith. And our scholars say, that iman (faith) has pleasure, has sweetness, and has a taste (in our heart).
