The Biggest Injustice

The biggest injustice is not bad government, not the price of basic food is expensive, not expensive education, not human rights violations, not the criminalization of innocent people, not all of them.

Allah Ta’ala said:

It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong i.e. by worshipping others besides Allâh), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided” (QS. Al An’am: 82).

When this verse recited, the sahaba were sad, because they all felt no one has pure soul that doesn’t contain zulm (wrongness). Mentioned in the hadith:

“The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, who among us has never done wrong to himself? So the Prophet explained: the meaning of the verse is not as you thought, but the meaning is shirk. Didn’t you hear Luqman’s words to his son: “actually shirk is the greatest injustice“? (Muttafaqun‘ alaih).

What is meant by the Prophet Shallallahu’alaihi Wasallam is the letter Luqman verse 13, Allah Ta’ala said:

And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: “O my son! Join not in worship others with Allâh. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allâh is a great Zûlm (injustice) indeed” (Luqman: 13).

Then the greatest injustice is the shirk of Allah Ta’ala.
