The Prophet ﷺ lived a simple life. He doesn’t have any luxurious things, glamorous clothes, abundant money, big house, delicious food, etc.
Just small house, simple clothes, some mounts. Even sometimes he can’t get a common food in a day.
One of the Prophet companion, Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah blesses him), he says,
“Don’t you eat and drink according to your heart’s desire? Whereas I saw that your Prophet ﷺ (at times) could not find even an inferior quality of the dates with which he could fill his belly?” [ Sahih Muslim ].
This describes how modest and how simple is his life. Because he doesn’t want anything from this dunya. His goal is simple and clear, to preach Islam to all humans and achieve happiness in the hereafter.
