The Prophet ﷺ Feared Six Trials for His Ummah

Life is full of trials and tests from Allah. If we can pass those trials and tests well, we will get success in this world and the hereafter.

The Prophet ﷺ told us that there were several trials that would befall his people. Among them, there are six trials mentioned in this hadith.

A hadith from ‘Awf ibn Malik (may Allah blesses him), that he Prophet ﷺ says:

أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ سِتًّا إِمَارَةُ السُّفَهَاءِوَسَفْكُ الدِّمَاءِ وَبَيْعُ الْحُكْمِ وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَنَشْوٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ

“I fear for you six trials: [1] foolish leaders; [2] shedding blood; [3] bribery in judgments; [4] severing family ties; [5] people who take the Quran as music; [6] and an excessive amount of conditions” [al-Mu’jam al-Kabir. Al Albani says that this hadith is saheeh].

Please be noticed on those six. Don’t be like them, don’t do those deeds.
