Did you know that doing obligatory prayers 5 times a day is not only an obligation, but also has a great virtue?
One of its virtues is that the 5 daily prayers will erase the sins that occur between the prayer times.
A hadith from Abu Huraira (may Allah blesses him), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says:
“Say, if there were a river at the door of one of you in which he takes a bath five times a day, would any soiling remain on him?”. They (the companions) replied, “No soiling would left on him”. He (ﷺ) said, “That is the five (obligatory) Salah (prayers). Allah obliterates all sins as a result of performing them” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Let’s be more enthusiastic about praying 5 times a day to get the virtues. May Allah accept our good deeds and forgive our sins. Aameen.
