One of the manners of talking to other people is not to ignore other people who are there. Ignoring somebody will make him sad or feel bad.
A hadith from Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah blesses him), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says,
“When three of you are together, two of you must not converse privately ignoring the third till the number increases, lest the third should be grieved” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].
