A true Muslim always speak good. He only said good and restrained himself from saying bad. True Muslim doesn’t curse people or say any dirty words.
In a hadith from Abdullah ibn Mas’ood (may Allah blesses him), that the Prophet ﷺ says:
“A true believer is not involved in taunting, or frequently cursing (others) or in indecency or abusing” [Tirmidzi. Al Albani says that this hadith is saheeh].
And, cursing people is not a small matter in Islam. It is a serious matter. That’s what sahabah (the companions) said to us.
Yazid ibn Abi ‘Ubayd reported that Salamah ibn al-Akwa’ (may Allah blesses him) says,
“If we (the companions) saw a man curse his brother, we considered it as if he had come to a door of major sins” [al-Mu’jam al-Awsat, classed as Saheeh by al-Albani]
So, let’s speak only good. Throw away the habit of cursing people.
