Allah Doesn’t Need Our Worship

Be noticed, that Allah does not need our worship. Allah commands us to worship Him, but not because He needs to be worshiped. He says:

I did not create jinn and humans but that they worship Me (only). I do not want any sustenance from them and I do not want them to give me food. Verily Allah is the One Who Gives sustenance Who has the Strength of the Very Strong “(Adz Dzariat: 56-58),

We worship Him or not, we doing good deeds or not, we obey or disobey the rules, we are immoral or not, it doesn’t affectno way affect the greatness of Allah in any way. If all the people believe and fear Allah, the glory of God remains in His perfection. If all the infidels and disbelievers in God, at all do not diminish His power. In a hadith qudsi Allah says:

O my servant, if all the people and the jinn from the earliest to the last, are all the ones most righteous, it does not add to my power. O my servant, if all the people and the jinn from the very first to the last, all be the most ridiculous, it does not diminish my power” (Narrated by Muslim, no.2577).

Thus, Allah does not need our worship. Then for what do we wear, spend a lot of time to practice and worship? Because we need it. Allah says:

If you do good, goodness is for yourself and if you do evil, then it is for yourself” (al-Isra: 7)

And whoever is grateful (to Allah), indeed he is grateful for himself” (Luqman: 7)

Allah does not need our worship, but we need it.

So what else is the reason for refusing and laziness to worship and do good? It’s all will return to us.
